What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. They remember things — like whether you've seen a notice before — so the site doesn't ask you the same question every visit.
They can't run programs, read your files or see what you do on other sites. On this site they're strictly the boring, useful kind.
What we use
- Essential: remembers your cookie choice itself, keeps forms working, keeps the site secure. Can't be switched off — the site needs them.
- Preferences: small comforts like remembering dismissed banners so they stay dismissed.
- Anonymous usage: simple counts of which pages people read so we know what's working. No cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles.
That's the whole list. No ad networks, no social media pixels.
Managing them
The consent bar on our home page lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings — every major browser has a "Cookies and site data" section in privacy settings.
Declining optional cookies won't break anything important — the site still works, we just remember less.
Third-party embeds
A couple of pages embed Google Maps. Loading the map may set Google's own cookies — those are covered by Google's policies, not ours. Nothing else on the site sets third-party cookies.
Prefer not to load it? The office address and a direct map link are on the contacts page either way.
Changes & questions
If we ever add a new cookie type we'll update this page and re-ask consent where required. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
