Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Blisssola Limited when you book a journey with us — plain English version. Last updated: March 2026.
What we do
Blisssola Limited ("we", "us", "the atelier") is a New Zealand-registered travel arranger based at 14 Margaret Place, Frankton, Queenstown. We design and book private journeys, accommodation, transport, guiding, dining and related experiences ("journeys").
We act as arranger and coordinator. Transport, accommodation and venue services are delivered by independent suppliers under their own terms — we vet them hard, but their rules apply to their part of the trip.
Booking & payment
- A journey is confirmed when you accept the written itinerary and pay the deposit — typically 30% of the trip price.
- The balance is due 45 days before departure unless your itinerary states otherwise.
- Prices are quoted in NZD and include GST where applicable. Third-party costs are passed through at the rates confirmed at booking.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days — lodge and vessel availability moves fast in high season.
Changes & cancellations
- You change plans: we'll rework the itinerary once for free; supplier rebooking costs (if any) are passed through at cost.
- You cancel: more than 60 days out, full refund minus a $450 admin fee; 30–60 days, 50%; under 30 days, supplier terms apply — we always negotiate hard on your behalf.
- We change plans: if weather, safety or a supplier failure forces a change, we offer a comparable alternative or refund the affected portion.
- Travel insurance: strongly recommended and required for alpine and marine itineraries. We can point you to providers we trust.
Conduct & venue rules
Some venues on our roster have their own house rules. Gaming areas and gaming events are strictly 18+ with photo ID — no exceptions, and no refunds where entry is refused for missing ID or intoxication. Guides may end an activity where safety, local rules or respect for the place requires it.
We expect guests to treat land, water, wildlife and local communities with the same care we do — access to private and culturally significant places depends on it.
Liability, plainly
Adventure involves inherent risk — that's partly why you came. We plan carefully, use certified professionals and maintain insurance appropriate to our operations. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for events outside our reasonable control (weather, natural events, supplier failures, your own choices mid-trip).
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
