Privacy Policy
How Blisssola Limited collects, uses and protects your information — written to be read, not just filed. Last updated: March 2026.
What we collect
When you enquire, book or travel with us, we collect what's needed to plan and run your trip:
- Contact details — name, phone number, email address.
- Trip details — dates, party size, preferences, dietary and mobility notes.
- Booking documents — identification details where suppliers (flights, gaming venues, border crossings) legally require them.
- Communications — emails, call notes and messages so the whole team has context.
We don't collect data we don't need, and we never buy contact lists.
How we use it
Your information is used to:
- Draft, quote, book and manage your journey.
- Coordinate with guides, lodges, transport and venue partners — only the details each partner needs.
- Contact you about your enquiry or booking, including time-sensitive changes while travelling.
- Meet legal obligations (invoicing, tax records, venue verification rules).
- Occasionally send news or seasonal journey ideas — only if you've asked or travelled with us, always with a one-click opt-out.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with:
- Suppliers delivering your trip — lodges, skippers, guides, venues and transfer operators.
- Professional advisers — our accountant and insurer, under confidentiality.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever. Some suppliers are based overseas; where data crosses borders we use partners who meet New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 standards.
Storage & security
Trip files live in encrypted, access-controlled systems. Only the planners working on your journey can see your file. We keep booking records for seven years (NZ tax law requires it), then securely delete them. Enquiry data for trips that never booked is removed after 24 months.
No system is bulletproof — if a breach ever puts your information at risk, we'll tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 you can:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete your information where the law allows.
- Opt out of marketing at any time — one click, no hard feelings.
